Since 2018 we have been delivering testing, protection and diagnostics services for utilities and industrial customers – from MV/LV switchgear commissioning to transformer diagnostics and protection relay testing.

About us

Feniks Energy is a team focused on power system automation, electrical testing and diagnostics. We operate at the interface between utilities, industry and modern PV installations.

We combine on-site experience with advanced test equipment – from Omicron and Megger systems through to full protection relay testing and transformer diagnostics. Our main goal is to ensure safety, reliability and correct operation of power systems at every stage of the project.

Testing & measurements

  • Earth resistance and continuity testing (PV structures, substations, MV/LV switchgear)
  • Insulation resistance tests of primary and secondary circuits
  • Verification of current and voltage circuits (injection test sets)

Protection & relay testing

  • Dielectric tests of MV switchgear and insulation strength checks
  • Circuit breaker tests – operating times, pole discrepancy, contact resistance
  • CT/VT testing – ratio, burden, characteristics and resistance
  • Condition assessment of primary circuits and switching devices
  • Auxiliary circuit checks (drives, coils, interposing relays)

Transformers & cables

  • MV/LV transformer diagnostics – magnetising currents, winding resistance, tan δ, frequency response, tap changer tests
  • Insulation condition assessment and cooling system checks
  • VLF and PD tests for MV cables – diagnostics, fault location, post-repair verification
  • Continuity checks of screens, earth wires and terminations
